Frequently asked questions

Can I save the suggested acronyms?
Yes — use the Copy button on the acronym display. Suggestions are generated fresh each session so keep a copy of ones you like.
Does it skip short words like "and" and "of"?
No, every word contributes a letter. If you want to exclude short filler words, remove them from your input phrase before generating.
Where do the word suggestions come from in Acronym-to-Words mode?
The suggestions are drawn from the same 10,000-word dictionary used by the anagram and rhyme tools. This keeps the vocabulary accessible rather than pulling obscure words.
Can I use generated acronyms for a product name?
Yes. There is no licensing on the output. Before finalizing a name, always run a trademark search in the jurisdictions you plan to operate in.
